The IU Visitor Information Center welcomes people from around the world. We serve as a first stop for many campus guests and visitors to the community. Our office is located at 530 E. Kirkwood Ave., Suite 104, across the street from IU’s Sample Gates. Drop by for information about IU or for help with planning your visit.

Travel Information

Visitors to IU Bloomington traveling on commercial airlines fly into the Indianapolis International Airport. Visitors traveling on private planes may fly into the Monroe County Airport.

    The following shuttle companies provide transportation to and from the Indianapolis International Airport:

  • Parking

    When visiting the IU Visitor Information Center on a weekday, you may pay to park on the street in a metered space, purchase a one-day parking pass from the IU Office of Parking Operations, or pay to park in the Indiana Memorial Union parking lot. Parking on Saturdays is free in all IUB parking lots, and on Sundays, parking is free on the streets and in the parking lots.
